About the ROCKY MOUNTAIN SYMPHONY
Founded in 2016, the RMSO has performed nearly 40 concerts all over Alberta. From their signature Canada Day Concerts at Spruce Meadows, to chamber music concerts in small country churches, the RMSO brings excitement and musical excellence wherever they tour.
Led by founder and Music Director, Carlos Foggin, the RMSO's 45 musicians comes from many walks of life. Some are professional musicians, others are high school band teachers, retired professors, lawyers, doctors, mechanics, and farmers. What unites them is their high-level of playing, and a desire to take music outside the big city and into smaller towns and unique venues.
RMSO concerts are relaxed and approachable. The musicians explain the music they'll play, and thoughtful program notes help listeners with the roadmap. With children's tickets only $5, and Adults $25-$35, a family can enjoy a night out in their own town for under $100!
